Community Support and Development

Researching what the community likes, wants and needs, strengthening communications, offering information, assistance, advocacy and encouragement are all parts of how we work within the community to help support and strengthen existing businesses and foster new enterprise. Community Awareness

expoMain Street organized Topsfield's EXPO in 2002, 2003, 2006 and 2008 to highlight the work of the many Town departments, boards and committees andthe activities and contributions of the town's membership organizations and non-profit groups.  Set up like a fair in the Proctor gymnasium, these popular events provided the opportunity for Topsfield's residents, volunteers and employees to meet and greet one another and exchange information. Expo in 2008 was the biggest ever with exibitions by the Police and Fire Departments, the Cultural Council, the Proctor Jazz Band and the business community.
